Friends/Lovers
CDBaby: Where independent music is heard... and sold. Give them your pennies and recieve excellent music, like mine.
Pure Volume: Featuring over 100,000 independent artists and still going strong, PV got me on my feet.
Dirty Laundry Records: Based in Santa Cruz and home of my main man Reedkd.
Inverse: They may think nor-cal is boring but I still like them. My rockin' counter-parts to the south.
Jack Johnson: He pretty much started it all for me, I owe a lot of my stylistic influences to his work. And he's a damn nice human.
Jason Mraz: My lyrical idol. His freestyle flows leave me in the dust, but I'll open for him someday, just watch.
Howie Day: I think we are roughly the same age, so I get excited thinking my break could come like his. Howie's magic with effects pedals.
Matt Nathanson: Honestly I'd say that live, the time inbetween his songs is better than the songs. Not to say his songs are bad, but he's just unfathomably hilarious on stage.
Guster: Aside from maybe Jimmy Buffet, no one has more loyal fans than guster. Anyone who would dance around John Mayer during "Your body's a Wonderland" in depends diapers and KCF bucket hats is alright by me.
Dave Matthews Band: They paved the way for all us modern acoustic acts. Thank you guys.
John Mayer: Good music, funny face.
Keller Williams: I opened for him in Waterville, Maine of all places. One day I'll figure out how he plays so fast while singing.
Rilo Kiley: Can't forget the ladies, especially the ones who are so much more bad ass than I am. Restoring my faith in indie rock one killer track at a time.
Homestarrunner: Sewiously. Just ridiculous flash cartoons. LOLERZ!
MXtabs: Had it not been for this site... I would have had to learn to read music.
Fark: For those of you who avoid the news paper like I do, fark offers the best of the saddest things we do as humans. I swear we are amusement for higher beings.
Amanda Michelle: Oh the sweetest of love we would make. Until then, her music will feed my desires.
